Come hike at Bourlay Historic Nature Park, 851 N Canal St, in Leesburg on Saturday, Oct 4 at 9 am.  Plenty of parking and restrooms are available.

This is an easy hike, great for beginners and non-hikers.  It's a series of short loops that all meet back at the parking lot.  We'll start with Buddy's Bounty loop that is 1.3 mi and has shortcuts back to the parking lot if that's too long for you.  Then we'll do the Woodpecker loop which is 3 different half mile loops through different parts of the park.  Very easy walking paths, mostly mowed grass.  It's all in the woods, so the whole hike will be shady.  There's lots of flowers and lush foliage, it's a very pretty hike.  Should take about an hour if you do all the loops.
