Yada Yada Pottery in downtown Mount Dora has created a special evening for TC friends. Not only will we learn how to throw pottery on a wheel, but we'll come away understanding all the steps in creating a thrown piece of pottery start to finish. 

The evening will also include casual dinner and drink options catered by our friends at Serendipity Brews! We'll dine first, then Juliette, our pottery instructor for the evening, will give a presentation to go over what's involved with making pottery, including a live demo. Then, it's your turn! You'll get to experience throwing, trimming, and glazing! 

Since it is not really possible to finish a whole piece all in one sitting, Juliette will guide us in a progressive manner, so that we are working on different pieces at various stages. We'll experience what to do at every stage, but not have the waiting times inbetween stages. (It normally takes two weeks to finish one piece from scratch.)

As a parting gift, you'll have the opportunity to pick out a piece that is already finished (created by others like you), or you can pick up the piece that you glazed about a week after the event. 

This event is $72/person, which includes group and one-on-one instruction, dinner, drinks and a piece of pottery. There are only 7 spaces available. NOTE: THIS EVENT AT CAPACITY AND IS FULL.
